My novels class is tapping into their seasonal artistic abilities by painting thematic details, quotes, and main ideas from their books onto pumpkins! Can't wait until they are done. Shout out to Trent Hatlen for the donated pumpkins!

Students in Mrs. Rusk's 8th grade reading class read various texts written by Edgar Allen Poe, and then they used their investigative skills to solve a fictitious cold case connected to Poe's "Tell Tale Heart." What a fun way to begin their suspense unit! #SiouxCentral

Reminder that Tuesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 28th are 1:15 Early Dismissals for Parent/Teacher Conferences, and there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 29th. Sioux Central FFA Fed the Farmers on Wednesday, packing and delivering over 400 meals to the local grain elevators. Great job Mrs. Bloom and FFA members. What a great "give back" to our community members. Continue to have a safe harvest.
