Mrs. Vanderhoff's Speech class, Mrs. Hanson's Advanced Foods class, along with Mrs. DeBolt and Mr. Perry's junior high band and choir, all performed and served a meal for our local veterans today.
There will be a parent meeting for HS wrestling on Monday Nov. 15 in the ICN room at 6:00pm.
The #SiouxCentral annual Veterans Program begins at 10:30 in the high school gymnasium. All veterans, their families, & community members are invited. We look forward to honoring all those who have served and are serving.
The Sioux Central Music and Theatre Department is putting on its fall musical, Legally Blonde: The Musical, on November 12 and 13 at 7 pm at the Old School. The entrance is free will donation. Come see all the fun and hard work the students have put in!
There will be a fundraising meeting for anyone signed up for the Washington D.C. trip that will be April 18-22, 2022.

Congratulations to Hadley Ayers for auditioning and being accepted into the NWIBA HS Honor Band this Saturday. She will participate in the festival on Saturday, January 8th. We are Rebel proud!

Mr. Tjaden's advisory students got a chance to participate with the 2nd graders in Mr. Edmundson's PE class as part of the SC Advisory Buddy Program.
Elementary coding students are enjoying using Mrs. Morris' new interactive projector! This allows them to practice their coding levels and navigate an iPad from the front whiteboard. Sioux Central will be holding youth wrestling practices on Monday evenings at 6:00 in the wrestling room. These practices will be run by Coach Edmundson. Practices will be from 6:00-7:00 for K-2nd grade and 6:00-7:30 for 3rd-6th grade (note these are the same times, the older kids will practice for longer to learn more advanced skills).
Practices will begin Monday, November 22 and the last practice will be Monday, February 14. We will not have any youth practices December 27 or January 3 due to winter break.
Students who are interested will be bringing forms home this week. Cost will be $20 for each wrestler for the entire season. Make checks payable to Sioux Central Wrestling.

Students in Mrs. Morris’ Computer Fundamentals class were introduced to Google Sheets by playing a fun game of Battleship! Each student created a battleship game board and battled 1 v. 1 while practicing the basic functions of Google Sheets, including adding boarders, filling in cells, navigating rows/columns, and using multiple sheets.
A reminder there is no school Monday, Nov. 1 for teacher inservice. See you all Tuesday.
