Good afternoon SC Community,
Many of you have been asking about the location of the new addition and the playground. The new addition will be situated in the southeast corner of the building, where the current playground is located. Construction is scheduled to begin in late May 2025.
The playground will be the first project completed, followed by the new band and choir space. After phase one is finished, construction of the new auditorium and other Ag/classroom renovations will begin.
We are incredibly excited about these new developments at Sioux Central and can’t wait to share them with you all.

Throughout each month, students learn new games and activities to put the skills they learn in PE into action. Towards the end of each month, students vote on which is their favorite game. After each class has the chance to vote, one game is drawn as the winner. For September, the game of the month is Flag Tag. This game truly is a class-wide favorite, and the kids were excited to play once more as their warm up for class.
Looking for some extra money? Come sub at Sioux Central. You can pick when you would like to work!
