JH Boys basketball will start practicing on Tuesday, October 29. No meeting before the 29th practice. The Junior Class will be hosting a Fall Family Fun night on Saturday, October 26. From 4:30-6:00 pm, there will be Trunk or Treating in front of the school. 4:30-6:30 pm Elementary-age students can play different games in the commons, followed by a 'kid-friendly lights on' Haunted House. From 7:00-10:00 pm, a lights-out Haunted House will follow. Tickets for games will be $10 for a 10-game punch card including a trip through the Kid Friendly Haunted House, and $5 for each trip through the Haunted House. Good afternoon, Sioux Central Rebel Community!
We are gearing up for Parent-Teacher Conferences the week of October 21st. We encourage you to come out to the building, meet with the teachers, and review how the first quarter has gone. Conferences will take place on Tuesday and Thursday that week.
Additionally, there have been some questions regarding the memorial trees on our property. Sioux Central is committed to preserving these trees and other memorials during the construction process. We will ensure they are carefully moved and protected until construction is complete, after which they will be restored to their designated spaces. Rest assured, these meaningful items will be well cared for throughout.
As we near the end of the regular season for football, volleyball, and cross-country, our high school teams are wrapping up the competition this week, with district play on the horizon next week. Best of luck to all our Rebel athletes!
Meanwhile, our Fine Arts students are preparing for their upcoming performances in November, showcasing their talents during a special Friday and Saturday show.

SC Yearbook Update: SC Yearbook staff will have a table set up during conferences next week from 4:00-8:00 on 10/22 and 10/24 inside the school's main entrance. During this time, elementary parents may pick up their 2024 elementary yearbook orders, as well as order the 2025 elementary yearbook. We will also be selling extra 2024 and 2023 MS/HS yearbooks for $45, and extra yearbooks from past years for $20. We will have the QR code set up to order the 2025 MS/HS yearbooks as well. We hope to see you there!
SC Yearbook Update: We have exciting news! Our Walsworth yearbook store to order 2025 yearbooks is now open!! We have posters with QR codes hung around the school for easy ordering. Simply scan the code and fill out the order and pay online. Our store will be open until April 15th, 2025. If anyone would like to pay with cash or check instead of paying online, please email yearbook23@siouxcentral.org with your order. Each yearbook costs $45.
