Sioux Central Theatre students have been hard at work preparing for the upcoming performances of "May We All: A Country Musical." This show features hits such as "Born to Fly" by the Chicks, "Play Something Country" by Brooks and Dunn, "Unbelievable" by Diamond Rio and so much more!
We hope you keep your calendars open on Friday, November 14th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, November 15th at 2:00 pm to come see the show.

Sioux Central Community: we need your help! The Junior Class is hosting a Haunted House with elementary games on Saturday, October 25. We hope to also have a community and/or family-sponsored TRUNK-OR-TREAT for the students in our community! The Iowa School Performance Profiles show that Sioux Central students consistently meet and exceed state averages in multiple areas, including math, reading, and science.
-Elementary: Rated Acceptable, maintaining steady progress year over year.
-Middle School: Rated Commendable, performing above the state average across the board.
-High School: Rated Commendable, with standout scores in post-secondary readiness and college credit achievement.

Fire Prevention Week brought plenty of smiles and sirens! Our PK–5th graders met the Sioux Rapids Fire Department, learned about fire safety, and even got a high-five from their favorite dalmatian friend. Mrs. Erpelding's Child Development 2 class is excited to partner with Sioux Central Daycare through the C4 grant (Early Childhood Credentials Program, Program Area: Child Care & Career Technical Education Partnerships)! This opportunity supports our students as they work toward earning their CDA (Child Development Associate). Students spend three days a week at the daycare gaining hands-on experience and complete required training on campus when they are not there. We’re so grateful for this partnership and we love all our new daycare friends! 💛👶📚
