Middle School and High School students had a great first day of school. The afternoon was filled with fun activities, and they did such a great job, we dismissed them at 3:15. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Join the Sioux Central Esports Team! Sioux Central is excited to announce the start of our Esports team, and we're looking for students in grades 9-12 to join us! This season, we'll be competing in Super Smash Bros!

The Athletic department has installed HUDL cameras in the HS gym, and football field. This will enable us to livestream events for free from our own HUDL channel. We will let you know when these are "active" for viewing and include the url. Go Rebels!
The HS football team will host West Fork in their sports drink scrimmage tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. We will also be introducing the XC teams, Cheer team, and HS VB team. Admission is optional and would be a sports drink of your choice. Go Rebels!

JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY INFO: Friday August 23rd after the first day of school there will be an information meeting from 3:45-4:15 in Coach Anderson's room. Practice will begin the following Monday. All athletic physical and concussion forms MUST be completed and turned into the office before students are able to participate. Questions can be directed to Coach Miller.

Sioux Central and Spencer volleyball programs are teaming up for our annual Pink Out Match! Join us as we cover the gym in PINK and raise awareness for breast cancer. SCVB will host a silent auction and a raffle for a free pair of shoes through Brown Shoe Fit (Spencer) during the matches, with ALL proceeds being donated to Abben Cancer Center in Spencer and BVRMC in Storm Lake.

Please join us for a Back to School BBQ/Open House on Wednesday, August 21st from 5:30-7:00 p.m. 6-12 Students can meet their teachers, fill their lockers with school supplies, and have supper. Elementary teachers will be holding conferences, so those classrooms will not be available. Elementary families can eat supper and play on the playground. A hot Dog meal will be served for everyone.
