Tomorrow, October 21, is picture RETAKES. If you were not happy with your first pictures or were absent, you can have them retaken tomorrow. Also, we ask that any new students to Sioux Central come ready to have their picture taken! Plan for tomorrow:
If a student has not had his/her photo taken, Christy or Rish will have an ID card ready.

Big congratulations to the Sioux Central Rebels Girls Cross Country team on earning the Conference Championship at last night’s meet!
A huge Congrats as well to the Boys Cross Country team for an outstanding race, finishing 2nd overall; just 3 points behind East Sac Raiders for the title.

Middle School students are headed to see the Iowa Wild on November 6th, and we can’t wait!
Permission slips went home yesterday! Please make sure to get them signed and returned.
Highly recommended return date: October 23
Final deadline: October 30 (original sheet said Nov. 4)
Cost: $4
Students may bring their own lunch or the school can provide a sack lunch.
Students will need a ride to school the morning of the trip; buses leave promptly at 7:15 AM.
Pick-up will be between 4:45–5:00 PM at the school.

Fire Prevention Week brought plenty of smiles and sirens! Our PK–5th graders met the Sioux Rapids Fire Department, learned about fire safety, and even got a high-five from their favorite dalmatian friend.
