Students can pick up their order from Mrs. Larga during one of these time options this week: 7th period, 8th period, or after school from 3:30-400. Kaylee Brown, a graduate of Sioux Central, has pursued a successful career as a fashion designer. Her designer brand and clothing designs will be showcased for New York Fashion Week from Thursday, September 11th to Tuesday, September 16th. The event will showcase new collections from established and emerging designers in anticipation of the upcoming fashion season. The purpose of fashion week is to preview the next season's collections, with this event focusing on the Spring/Summer 2026 season. It is the first major stop of the global "Big Four" fashion weeks, followed by London, Milan, and Paris. We are so proud of Kaylee and her personal accomplishments as a designer!

The annual Sioux Central Homecoming parade will be held on Friday, September 19, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Line-up will start at 1:15 p.m. in front of City Hall on Front Street. The parade route will travel up Main Street to the pool, then return down Blake Street.

Mrs. Hanson’s 7th graders are learning a skill that’s both creative and practical—sewing! Students have been hard at work mastering the basics of hand stitching and are now gaining confidence using sewing machines. From threading needles to operating the machines, they’ve shown incredible progress. We’re so proud of the effort they’ve put into learning this lifelong skill! 👏
The MS appreciation night at the HS VB matches has been rescheduled to next Thursday. All MS VB players will get into the match for free and be introduced prior to the varsity match. Please meet at the north door of the gym around 6:40 p.m. next Thursday (9/18/25).
