Mrs. Wittmaack's Emergency Management Mayterm had a great week exploring our local emergency services. We visited Spencer Hospital, BVRMC EMS, BV County Sheriffs Department and Jail, Okoboji/Arnolds Park Fire and Rescue, and the Sioux Rapids Fire Department. Students enjoyed the immersive experiences and learning about the different departments involved in emergency services. We have some future paramedics, fire fighters, and law enforcement students!

For JH summer sports, we DO NOT provide a shuttle between home and school for practices. If parents can get the kids to school, we do take them to AC for games, or Peterson for Practices, but not home.

Happy Retirement! We gave a big send-off to the one and only Mr. Boge, Mrs. Tunink, and Ms. Bunge as they bid farewell to their classrooms (and hopefully, their alarm clocks too!). At the end of our last day of school, we enjoyed refreshments to celebrate these amazing educators and all the laughter, learning, and love they’ve shared with us over the years. Here’s to relaxing mornings and endless hobbies! We’ll miss you so much! Enjoy every well-deserved minute of your next adventure! #SiouxCentralRebels #RebelsOnDuty

👶Babysitting Basics👶 was a success during Middle School May Term! Students eagerly learned the basics of babysitting, including child safety, and how to engage kids with fun, age-appropriate activities. They practiced diaper changing, meal prep, and emergency response through hands-on simulations. As they gained confidence, they also learned the importance of communication with parents and setting clear boundaries.

Over 250 fish caught today at Outdoors Iowa. Bluegill, crappy, perch, small mouth bass. Great experience for everyone, from experienced to novice fisherman.

Had to talk her into holding the fish.
First fish for Michael
Look at that whopper!
This took Alyssa some patience.
We will make them fishers yet.
Urijah’s first fish of the day.
Had to talk her into just touching the fish.
Madi’s first fish this morning. She had to work for it.
Biggest one of the day. Way to go Landon!!
This guy did more helping than fishing. Thank you Raymond!!

Sioux Central May Term "Exploring the Theatre" has been underway since attending Hamilton in Omaha on May 17th! Students had a blast seeing Hamilton, and they all agree that there is nothing quite like attending a live theatre production. Today they were able to experience a quick sound workshop with Northwestern College Professor Drew Schmidt where they learned how to pick appropriate sound affects and effectively edit them for theatre.

🎶 HUGE shoutout to this incredible lady! 🎶 Today’s Track and Field festivities at Sioux Central were on a whole new level of FUN thanks to her unmatched energy and creativity! 💥 She didn't just show up in style (seriously—check out that look! 🔥), she brought the vibe for the entire day. Using AI, she created 70 unique songs all about Sioux Central, including personalized tracks for individual teachers! Each one brought smiles, laughs, and a whole lot of spirit to the field. 🎧💃 Her contagious energy, spunky personality, and dedication to making the day memorable for everyone—students and staff alike—did not go unnoticed. 💗 Thank you for making magic happen and for reminding us how fun school can be when we add a little creativity, a lot of heart, and just the right soundtrack. #SiouxCentralPride #TrackAndFieldFun #ThankfulForYou #VibesByDesign #TheHeartOfSiouxCentral
