Football Cheerleaders will be hosting a TK-5th grade Little Rebel Cheer camp on September 28, with a performance during half-time of the football game on September 29. Reminder that all Sioux Central students in grades 9-12 get FREE admission to all HOME sporting events this school year.
The Twin Lakes Conference, and district football, voted to raise ticket prices for varsity events beginning with the 23-24 school year. Varsity contests will now cost $8 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. In addition, Sioux Central has decided to go to online ticketing for all junior high and high school events. Activity passes will be treated as they have been in the past. If possible, please have your activity ticket, or a picture of it, with you at the gate.
Through online ticketing, the Sioux Central School District will incur the processing fee, which in turn, will keep the final cost of the tickets at $8/$5. There will also be a way to purchase tickets at the gate if you choose not to pre-purchase your ticket. We at Sioux Central appreciate your past and continued support of our athletic programs. A reminder it's our Open House Back to School BBQ tonight, Monday, August 21, from 5:30-7:00 p.m (free will donation). We have decided to move it inside due to the heat. 6-12 grade can meet their teachers, get their schedules, and drop off their school supplies, Elementary students should wait to bring anything until their Welcome Back Conference on Wednesday or Thursday (if you haven't signed up, be sure to do so), but please come hang out with all your teachers and enjoy dinner and socializing. REMINDER: Our Sioux Central community will be offering Free Back-to-School Haircuts for SC students in need in PK-12 grade on Saturday, August 19th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. We ask that families with last names A-L come from 9-00-11:00 a.m. and last names M-Z 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.. The haircuts will be given in downtown Sioux Rapids at Christy's Salon (Christy Driver) and The Salon on Main (Cassidy Beek and Audrey Nicol). We will get in as many as we can in this time frame and add another date if necessary. We ask that you come with clean hair if possible. There will not be time for shampooing, styling, etc. SEE YOU THERE!

The Sioux Central Football team will play a scrimmage against West Fork in Sheffield this Friday, August 18 at 6pm. The plan is to have varsity play the first half and JV/JVR play the second half. Game is free admission. If you would like to donate a sports drink to the Football program please bring to the school.
