Senior Spotlight: Allison Ehlers Allison has been a a part of the SC music department for all 4 years of Has, plus her time in middle school. She has participated in band, choir, jazz band, accompanied jazz choir, solo/ensemble for clarinet, piano, and voice, played the role of Brook Wyndham in Legally Blonde, and has accompanied the HS and MS choirs. She has also been in many honor bands over the years including Dordt Honor Band and Northwest Iowa Bandmasters Association Honor Band. She says that music at SC allows for many opportunities for students to be involved, and she has taken full advantage of that. Her favorite song she did in choir was "Fruitcake!" and her favorite band piece was "Moscow 1941". Allison's favorite musical memory is from a trip back from a jazz band performance where her brother, Clayton, was giving a tour of all the farmland and acreage on the bus intercom. Thank you Allison!
