Congrats to Jacob Hargens (1st Team) and Carter Boettcher (3rd Team) who were selected as members of the 2023-23 Class 2A All-State Basketball Team. Jacob becomes the 2nd player in school history to get 1st Team honors.
The HS B/G track meet scheduled for Monday, March 27th, in Lake City, has been cancelled. It will not be rescheduled.

Congrats to senior Carter Boettcher who signed to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College. Carter is a 2 time 1st Team All-Conference performer and was named 3rd Team All-State this past season. He is the son of Todd and Erica Boettcher.
Sioux Central Elementary Spring Concert will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 7:00PM in the HS Gym. The theme for this performance is “COLORS!”
Ms. Bunge and the students in TK - Grade 5 are preparing an evening of songs that will leave a vivid imprint in your soul. The 5th Grade Band, under the direction of Mr. Perry will also impress you with a dynamic performance! Ms. Standley will host an Elementary Art Show in the Commons. Jacob Hargens was named Academic All-State this year for his accomplishments on the court and in the classroom. He was honored this past week at the state tournament in Des Moines, and is 1 of 24 seniors in the state to receive this honor.
Sioux Central will be dismissing on Thursday, March 16th at 12:15 due to the incoming weather. All students will have lunch before they go home. Be safe!!
