Music Senior Spotlight: Keyla Molina
Keyla has been involved in the SC music department since 7th grade. She was involved in Legally Blonde the musical and Disney's The Little Mermaid, and has participated the last 3 years in Solo/Ensemble Contest with multiple vocal groups. Keyla enjoys being in the music department because it gives her the opportunity to be with her friends and try something creative. Her favorite song to sing in choir was "Once Upon a December", and her favorite band piece was "The Polar Express". Her favorite memory from the music department is "goofing around during practice with Ella while Mr. Perry is trying to teach. I love being in band - it's one of the things I most enjoy about school." Thank you, Keyla!

Mark your calendars for the Junior-Senior Prom, taking place on Saturday, April 20! The Grand March will take place in the Sioux Central Gym, beginning at 6:30. Contact Mrs. Rusk (arusk@siouxcentral.org) with any questions!

The middle schoolers participated in a mock caucus this week. Students selected six cartoon characters to caucus for. After secret ballots, lots of debate, and final groupings they have selected Batman as their winning candidate. Shrek and Dora the Explorer tied for second place.
