Drivers Education will be two hours late Friday morning, March 10.
After 5 days away from school the Space Settle Design Competition students returned from Texas. With little sleep and a couple of long bus rides, students came back with a great experience working not only in the engineering field but also in creating a business proposal and presenting it to a foundation. Hannah Fredrich, Halle Laursen, Rayce Meyer, and Makala Zeke were split into four teams to propose a design and development of a generic crew base/habitat design on the surface of Earth's Moon Luna. Hundred plus Students from all over the midwest including Iowa and Texas competed in these four different teams. Makala Zeke was on the winning team and might have the chance to go to the international competition at Kennedy Space Center this summer.
The ICAN presentation scheduled for tonight will be rescheduled to Monday, March 20th at 6PM.
Due to the weather, we will be ending conferences at 6:30 p.m. tonight. If you are scheduled after that time, please reach out to the teacher or the office to reschedule earlier or the teacher will reach out to schedule a phone conference with you at another time. Reminder there is no school Friday, March 10 but there is school March 13th. Have a great weekend!
