The Middle School and High School will be taking the ISASPs this week, Tuesday-Thursday. Hopefully students sleep and eat well everyday, but please encourage students to get a good night's rest each night this week and to try their best on their tests to represent themselves and the school! Testing will begin at 8:20AM, students should come with their chromebooks charged; regular classes will resume at 10:20AM.
A huge thanks to the Junior Class for a beautiful Prom yesterday (and thanks to everyone for understanding our spotlight technical issue)! We have a few misplaced pieces of rented tuxes and other miscellaneous items from last night. If you have anything that needs to find its rightful home, please let Mrs. Rusk know by emailing arusk@siouxcentral.org. We will do our best to get things sorted out.

Mrs. Tunink was reading a book to her kindergartners back in February, and there was a teacher in one of the books who was wearing pearls and high heels to school. Mrs. Tunink told the kids how she would never wear high heels to school, that she just couldn't imagine this as she hates wearing them. So when she asked her students what was one incentive they wanted if they met their reading goal in March, you guessed it...they wanted her to wear high heels to school! So they met their goal, and she delivered yesterday :). Mrs. Tunink, I hope your feet are okay!
Just a reminder that tomorrow, April 6, is am early dismissal at 1:15. There will be no school Friday or Monday. We will resume classes Tuesday, April 11. Have a nice break.

One of our bus drivers, Toni Kracht, was so thrilled to hear one of her 1st graders read aloud every day on the bus that she offered to buy every 1st grader a new book. They all got to pick one out of the book order. AMAZING!! What a great way to inspire the joy of reading. Thanks Toni ❤️ #RebelPride. Rebels love to READ!!!
