Enjoy your weekend! #siouxcentralrebelsrock #rebelslearnleadsucceed

Alright, Sioux Central, place your bets! Are we getting a blizzard, a tornado, or all of the above this weekend? Forecasts say anything is possible! 70 degrees Friday, snow Saturday, and maybe a little chaos in between. Mother Nature is clearly having an identity crisis. What’s your prediction? Check local weather for updates and stay safe!

Good luck to the Sioux Central Individual Speech Team on their State Contest on Saturday, March 15th at Woodbury Central in Moville. A total of 19 students will perform 27 pieces (several students will be performing twice!). Check out the schedule below. If you get a chance to travel to Moville, these fabulous students would appreciate your support!

Sioux Central volleyball had an incredible time hosting our annual Spring camp for 3rd-8th graders. Our young athletes showed amazing energy, teamwork, and determination throughout the camp!
A huge thank you to our coaches, and high school players that helped make this camp a success. We love seeing the next generation of Rebels grow and develop their skills! Keep up the hard work girls! 🏐

6th grade through Kindergarten: Remember to get your youth baseball and softball registration turned in by March 15th. Email Jen Wittmaack with questions. jwittmaack@siouxcentral.org. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GTv1kHLy6Xp2lWtEuNYqlghvePrNFEcURBu5B41KKVI/edit?usp=sharing

The HS pops concert tonight will be livestreamed. Please visit https://fan.hudl.com/usa/ia/sioux-rapids/organization/18555/sioux-central-high-school to access it. Look down the right-hand side...it is listed under HS boys varsity basketball.

With a school canceling for tonight's JH meet, and possible weather moving in, we have decided to cancel the JH wrestling meet for today.

For the FCCLA Star Project this year, Kennedy Brown, Sarah Phillips, and Caitlin Wildeman decided to sew pillow cases for both sections of preschool. Additionally, they were inspired to give Mrs. Dani's preschool class a little presentation over sewing and sewing machines, as well as give them sewing machine coloring sheets and yarn balls to take home. The kids loved it.

Hope everyone had a great day today and stayed warm and safe. We will a two hour delay Thursday, March 6, 2025. No breakfast served.

Sioux Central: Thur, Mar 13, 1:25pm-2:45pm - required for students showing 4-H/FFA livestock (https://yqcaprogram.org/)

GUESS WHAT? There's a Blizzard Warning! Therefore, Sioux Central will be cancelling school for Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Take some time to clean your house, shovel snow, help your parents/guardians with other chores, and most importantly catch up on homework before conferences where everyone talks about you to your parents. ENJOY YOUR DAY OFF! #SCROCKS!

Join us for our annual HS Pops Concert on Thursday, March 6 @ 7 PM in the HS gym. You will hear from the HS Jazz Band, HS Choir, and HS Band. It's sure to be a fun night!
